Review: Kilter Pinkii Swear Raspberry Pale Ale

Kilter Brewing
- Pinkii Swear Raspberry Pale Ale

Juicy / Fruity. Infused with raspberry and dry hopped with Mosaic and Galaxy. 5% ABV

Appearance: Pours like your typical raspberry-infused beer. It's got a heavy pink-reddish raspberry body to it. Looks like just about any other raspberry-themed beer I've ever had. The head is white with a slight pinkish hue to it.

Aroma: Sweet, fruity, notes of raspberry, a tad vegetal, and a tad tropical with a bit of various tropical fruitiness popping out here and there. Lemon, slightly soapy at the end.

Taste: Sweet and raspberry-forward Pale Ale. It's got a bit of tartness from it, also a hefty malt graininess that reminds me of a few Manitoban Pale Ales I've had in recent memory. Light amount of nuttiness at the end. The raspberries gives it a lingering tart aftertaste.

Overall Thoughts: Not bad, mildly tart, notes of raspberry, slightly vegetal.
