Review: Okanagan Spring 1516 Bavarian Lager

Review: Okanagan Spring 1516 Bavarian Lager by Cody La Bière
In the Okanagan Spring taster pack, they have four beers, the 1516 Bavarian Lager, Hopped Lager, Brewmaster Black Lager and a Pale Ale.

This review is of the 1516 Bavarian Lager, a lager that's brewed according to the Bavarian Purity law of 1516 where only barley, hops, yeast and water can be used.

Appearance: A pale straw golden yellow, hazier than a usual lager. White foam, bubbles. The usual.

Aroma: Bit of a sweet malt, smell of straw.

Taste: Bit of straw, bit of the usual maltiness of a lager. Slight amount of bitterness from the hops.

Overall Thoughts: This is probably the beer I'd drink last if picking up a mix pack. Not a bad lager though but as you know, I'm not a lager fan.
