Review: Andina Callista Hazy IPA

Another one from the hoard - today I'm sampling Callista Hazy IPA from Vancouver's Andina Brewing. 6.6% ABV.

Appearance: Oh my goodness, I had to review another beer ahead of this because the head was massive, thick beige and took up 80% of the glass. Once it warmed up it gave off a bit of a murky orange appearance and a good deal of off-white head.

Aroma: Mildly sweet IPA with a bit of a vegetal vibe to it, notes of pineapple, melon and lemon. Decent pine bitterness to it, hint of a paint-like aroma at the end.

Taste: Leafy and floral hop presence to it that gives off a tad bit of a bitter presence to it, sweet notes of melon, lemon and other fruit.. but not really that sweet to me. Well, it has a bit of a Five Alive vibe to it but that's about it.

Overall Thoughts: S'alright. Mildly tropical and has a bit of a Five Alive vibe to it but nothing wowing.
