Review: Noctem Artisans Brasseurs x Brewskey Pub & Brasserie Artisanale's Anomalie Double NEIPA

Noctem Artisans Brasseurs x Brewskey Pub & Brasserie Artisanale's Anomalie Double NEIPAWow, merci Eric pour cette bière (et bcp des autres). I've reviewed a few beers from Noctem Artisans Brasseurs out of Quebec City, but never anything from Montreal's Brewskey Pub & Brasserie Artisanale - in fact, I once spent an entire afternoon hanging out with Derrick from Brewskey at Mondial de la Bière alongside a couple of my favourite beer geeks a decade ago or so.. I've also visited Brewskey's pub and enjoyed a lot of great beer and some amazing wings (or they called back then "wangs" - they were full on drum/flattie uncut wings).

Okay, my nostalgia and excitement about the past is gone now, so we should focus on the beer - this collab between Noctem and Brewskey is a beer brewed for Catpack 2026, brewed with Citra, Nelson Sauvin and Galaxy hops. 8% ABV

Appearance: I was expecting it to be an deeper, darker orange look (like the actual juice) but it gives off a very creamsicle orange/creamy appearance to it. Very thick amount of creamy head on top that blends in to the beer quite well and doesn't go away at all.

Aroma: Leafy hop profile right from the start, followed by notes of tangerine, mango, lemon, grapefruit.

Taste: Very smooth, creamy with an abundance of tropical notes - tangerine, lemon, grapefruit. and a slight peppercorn spice at the very end. Very smooth for 8%, insanely creamy
