John Candy and Dan Aykroyd in The Great Outdoors?! Hilarious movie from my childhood that I still watch once every couple years when it inevitably shows up on a random TV channel (some of us still have those..)

I first sampled this IPA at Brandon AG Days several months ago, recall enjoying it, so it should be good!

Appearance: Opaque, deep orange body with a good amount of carbonation. The head is pretty thick with a white-ish hue to it, which gradually goes down to leave behind a really nice layered lacing on the glass.

Aroma: Orange peel galore! It's got lots of leafy hop presence, good amount of citrus, maybe a bit of mango? Tropical and rinds galore.

Taste: Tropical and juicy IPA with pineapple, mango, lemon, a bit of orange zest and a bit of a leafy bitterness at the end. The beer definitely gives off a bit of a booziness to it, which 6.8% feels like it's be a bit higher to me.

Overall Thoughts: Not bad. There's nothing I'd really call out here, it's a your every day NEIPA. I've said this before, likely every time I've ever had a beer from their Be Kind, Rewind series I've wanted to see them do a Strange Brew themed beer.. I'd feel that'd be an Imperial Lager or full out something murky and this Canadian Hoser would drink it! ⬇️
