Appearance: Cloudy, opaque with a mild orange creamsicle kind of body to it, it’s almost like looking into a beer fog. The head is very bright white, and quite thick and frothy.. it’s not really going anywhere.
Aroma: I’m dealing with a mild cold so my nose isn’t up to snuff right now. It has a bit of a leafy presence to it, a slight dankness to it, a hint of pineapple/citrus to it, and a slight oat-forward creaminess at the end.
Taste: This starts off as a very oat-forward Hazy IPA, giving off an abundance of oaty breakfast cereal notes to it, as well as a good presence of creaminess. It’s got a decent leafy hop presence to it, a tad floral, a bit of pineapple, grapefruit, lemon and an ever so subtle hint of something like mint.
Overall Thoughts: The appearance is absolutely nice. The beer itself is nice too, but it’s yet another Hazy IPA.. but this is a bit creamier and oat-forward than many are at the moment.
