Appearance: Kind of clear with a bit of cloudiness in the body with a deep amber-caramel hue to it. Thick amount of off-white head that diminishes pretty quickly to leave behind a hafla. finger's worth of head on top.
Aroma: Sweet-forward malty Pale Ale with a caramel malt profile to it. Slight hint of pepper for spiciness, moderate tropical notes (melon, pineapple).
Taste: I actually tasted this before I took a whiff of the aroma - surprising tropical after all this time - I got a hint of pineapple right from the beginning which brought me back memories of a Rebellion Sour I had four or so years ago. Gives off a lot of malt presence to it that reminds me of an English Pale Ale - lots of caramel, but you definitely get a bit of a hop presence that's attributing to some tropical notes, but as well as mildly bitter (pine) at the end.
Overall Thoughts: Held up well after two years. Decently malty, a bit tropical and somewhat bitter as well.
