Non-alcoholic Review: Kronenbourg Blanc 0.0%

Kronenbourg Blanc 0.0% NA BeerToday's non-alcoholic sampling is Krokenbourg Blanc 0.0%. Believe it or not, I actually reviewed this beer back in 2020 but my computer completely crashed and as well fried my SD card in the process, so the review was lost and since I don't make any money off this, I decided to just not bother with the review until now. The regular version of Krokenbourg Blanc has been brewed in Canada for the past few years now at Waterloo Brewing, but Krokenbourg Blanc 0.0% non-alcoholic beer is made in France.

Kronenbourg Blanc 0.0% is brewed with water, barley malt, wheat malt, sugars, C02, natural flavour, citric acid, acacia gum, hop extract. 100 calories per 330mL bottle

I bought this bottle only a few weeks ago but the best before day of July 2025, so it's either not been selling well and the Liquor Commission is keeping old stash or it's just coming to Canada at a very slow rate.

Appearance:
It looks like a typical witbier to me so far - it's got the unfiltered sort of look going on with a deep golden body to it. The head starts off with a decent amount of white head on top that diminishes pretty quickly leaving behind light amount of residue on the glass.

Aroma: Definitely has a sugary aroma to it - it's got a candy-like sugar presence to it, like as if you have some sort of gummy candy like gummy worms. There's a noticeable presence of coriander to give off that typical Belgian witbier kind of aroma to it, orange peel, a hint of saltine cracker. The overly sweet aspect of the beer is the most dominating part.

Taste: The first impression I got was pretty much whether or not I'm drinking a malt-based cooler or a beer - it's way too sweet. It definitely had that sweetness I said was a gummy candy sort of taste - see Sour Patch Kids without the sourness. There's a lot of orange zest in there, a mild amount of coriander. and a brief pizza crust-like taste to it, bready. There's a mildly sour/sugary aftertaste, which still tastes like I just had some gummy candies.

Overall Thoughts: This is for sure a drinkable NA beer but this seems more like a sugary malt-based NA cooler instead. Very sweet to the point that the coriander isn't the aggressive flavour this time around. I still remember having this back in 2020 it tasted overly coriander-forward. If you like overly sweet beers and like when there's an orange wedge added to your beer - this NA option is probably for you.

Here's a review of the full ABV Kronenbourg Blanc I did back in the day
